Positive Club (HIV+
people club)
For the first time in Iran, Positive Club
is created by the effort of HIV+ people in Tehran. This club is created to
join HIV+ people, respond to their needs and solve their problems, both
therapeutic and Psychic problems.
This club that all of its constituency and
directorate members are HIV+ people, serves therapeutic, consultative and
amusing services.
Heads of ministry of health (Islamic
republic of Iran), active NGOs in HIV/AIDS section and also the chairman of
the Center of HIV/AIDS services of Iran, were in the opening ceremony (Imam
Khomeini Hospital, Tehran - August 6, 2006).

Community-Based HIV/AIDS Prevention Project

This project contains some workshops that would be held in different cities
in Iran. Zendegi Mosbat Iranian

Project Results: By 2006,

stakeholders sign MOU/A to support peer outreach education (POE) and
adolescent friendly services (AFS) for HIV/AIDS prevention.

HIV/AIDS prevention services and other AFS
are integrated in social and health services.

Identified gaps in KAP of MARCY+W are
targeted by POE interventions and AFS.

MARCY+W access HIV/AIDS prevention services
and other AFS.
